ESTIMATES ARE GOOD FOR 60 DAYS.
PAYMENT
A 25% deposit is due at beginning of any website design project. A 50% deposit is required for logo design or print design. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond on every project to make it work - if we present the designs outlined in our email agreement plus a few extra and if you don't like any of the choices at all, deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. If we do not provide you with the designs as outlined in the email agreement then you are entitled to a refund.
Payment in full is due before final website is uploaded or digital files are provided.
PROPERTY RIGHTS
Until final payment is made, Simply Great Design retains ownership of all art work and website files. After final payment, you own your finished product but we reserve the rights to the elements we create for your project including, but not limited to, fonts, illustrations (unless custom ordered), patterns, stock art, textures, and color schemes. Simply Great Design reserves the right to promote itself through showcasing design work created for the client.
PROTECT YOUR LOGO
We suggest you copyright your custom logo for your own protection. We try our best to discourage people from downloading files off this site but there are people who find their way around it, so protect yourself legally.
STOCK IMAGES
We may use stock images to create your design. Simply Great Design covers all costs when stock images are used. Stock images may only be used as delivered for one-time use and may not be resold.
APPROVAL OF FINAL ART WORK
PRINT
The client shall proofread & approve all final type before delivery of digital files intended for print. Simply Great Design does not offer proofreading, editing, or copy writing. Simply Great Design is not responsible for the quality of the final product delivered by a printer of the client’s choice. We will, however, coordinate with the printer of your choice to ensure that print-ready files are supplied in accordance with that printer’s needs.
WEBSITE
The client shall proofread and approve all content before going live with the client’s website. Although reasonably small type corrections will be accommodated after uploading the website, major alterations such as adding a new tab for navigation, will be billed at the standard hourly rate of $50.
RUSH FEES
Any job that is pushed ahead of regularly scheduled jobs will incur a rush fee of $300 for print projects and $500 for website projects. In general we do not accept rush jobs.
CREDIT
Simply Great Design shall have the right to include a credit line with a live link to simplygreatdesign on the bottom of each page of any website we create.
LIABILITY
Simply Great Design shall take reasonable precautions to safeguard original or other materials provided by the client. Simply Great Design shall, however, not be liable for any damage to, or loss of any material provided by the client, including artwork, photographs, or manuscripts, other than or on account of willful neglect or gross negligence of Simply Great Design.
SEARCH ENGINES & MARKETING
Simply Great Design is not a marketing firm. We will, however, include meta tags (keywords) and perform search engine submissions. We will help you set up and maintain, for a small fee, a Google AdWords account.
TERMINATION
Either party may terminate this agreement upon giving written notice to the other. Upon termination Simply Great Design will retain any initial payment and the client shall pay for all hours expended on the project, up to the date of termination, at Simply Great Design’s standard hourly rate of $50.
REFUNDS
Once a project has been created in full according to the email agreement, no refunds are given after the design has been approved. If, in the initial phase of the project, more than the agreed upon number of concepts is provided along with revisions, no deposit is refunded.
TIMELINES
Upon initial deposit we will provide you with an estimated turnaround time. For websites this turnaround time is from the date we have ALL CONTENT FROM YOU.
WEBSITE MAINTENANCE
After completion of a website project, maintenance is charged at an hourly rate of $50 and billed on the 1st of each month.

Simply Great Design graphics are NOT available for use by other designers without written permission.
